AutoJet Modular Spray System
Easy-to-use system offers controlled, precise automatic spraying
The AutoJet Technologies MS2250 Modular Spray System is a self-contained,
modular spraying system that enhances the performance of automatic
spray guns. It consists of two basic components - an electrical
control panel featuring the Model 2250 AutoJet
Spray Controller and an engineered valve package. The MS2250
modular system provides the power of a fully integrated system at
a reasonable price.
The AutoJet Technologies Modular Spray System provides exceptional spray gun
control with dependable results. It's ideal for any low flow rate
spray application such as:
- Moistening
- Lubricating
- Marking
- Disinfecting
- Coating
It's a good choice for R&D and pilot runs as well as full-scale production applications.
Modular construction offers maximum flexibility
The AutoJet® MS2250 Modular
Spray System is available either on an individual cart or as a wall-mount.
The cart features a rugged, compact design for dependable, long-term
operation and mobility.
A stainless steel pressure tank is also available with 5, 10, or optional 16 gallon (19, 38 or 60 liter) tank capacities to help eliminate pump maintenance.
The option of a NEMA Type 4x specially sealed stainless steel valve enclosure is available to protect the valve package from any damage.
The MS2250 Modular Spray System integrates your air supply so that
plant air is filtered with an oil/water coalescer. In addition,
spray gun hook up kits are available for use with air-actuated or
electrically actuated spray guns in addition to air atomized or
liquid-only spray nozzles.
Precise spray control
At the heart of the MS2250 Modular Spray System is the Model
2250 AutoJet Spray Controller powered by SprayLogicTM
software. The AutoJet controller enables more precise regulation
of spraying variables than is possible through PLCs. Using our SprayLogic
software (patent pending), it reliably monitors and automatically
adjusts spray variables including spray pattern, flow rate, drop
size, liquid pressure, atomizing air pressure and fan air pressure.
The controller can also monitor external conditions, such as temperature
and humidity, that can critically affect the efficiency of your
spraying system. Controller functions include:
- Independent monitoring and control of multiple spray guns
- Easy programming of setpoint parameters
- Assistance with troubleshooting
- Programming to shut down on specified faults
A wide variety of control schemes
provide unparalleled flexibility in spray applications. Digital
and analog inputs allow the integration of many different sensors,
including pressures, flow, triggers and temperature.
Faster response and precise control for better results and less waste
Specially designed circuitry in the AutoJet Spray Controller and a high-speed valve package permits an increase in the speed and accuracy of both pneumatic and electrically-actuated spray guns. For demanding spray applications, this accuracy can improve the overall quality of your process.
Reduce or eliminate overspray and misting
If misting and overspray are a concern, a pulsed spray, separated by delays that occur several times per second, can significantly reduce airborne mists when used in conjunction with a properly selected spray nozzle. In addition to improving the work environment, this can help save money by eliminating overspray.
Easy to set up, use and maintain
The AutoJet Modular Spray System features a multiline LCD display operator interface and keypad. All set-up operations are performed by means of the keypad and control parameters and are easily accessed by menus on the display.
In addition, SprayLogic editing software enables users to modify controller menus and operating parameters on a personal computer and easily upload changes to the AutoJet controller. Set-up and operation of the AutoJet Technologies System couldn't be easier.
The AutoJet Modular Spray System can be used with all Spraying Systems Co. spray guns
As a division of the world's leading manufacturer of spray nozzles,
AutoJet Technologies systems are fully compatible with Spraying
Systems Co. air-actuated and electrically-actuated spray guns. The
air-actuated automatic spray guns are driven by a remote three-way
solenoid that delivers compressed air to the single-acting, spring
return cylinder in the gun itself. These economical, general-purpose
spray guns have a maximum cycle speed of 1000 to 1800 cycles per
minute with the Modular Spray System (intermittent duty).
The electrically-actuated spray guns utilize an internal 24V DC
solenoid coil to directly drive a carbide ball tipped shut-off stem.
They can achieve cycle speeds as high as 10,000 cycles per minute
using the PulsaJet® 10000 spray gun. The fast response
of these spray guns, results in improved spraying precision and
provides quieter operation.
Choose from air atomizing or liquid-only spray nozzles
Several different types of air atomizing and liquid-only spray nozzles are available for use with the AutoJet Technologies spray guns. The air atomizing nozzles use compressed air along with a pressurized or siphoned liquid to produce a wide variety of different spray patterns. Additionally, they will produce a wide range of liquid drop sizes, from a very fine mist to relatively coarse drops. Liquids of many different viscosities can be used. Liquid-only spray nozzles use nozzle orifice geometry to precisely disperse and meter a pressurized liquid.
