AutoJet® Model 2250 PulsaJet® Panel saves food manufacturer $50,000/yr in product scrap and rework

Problem: A global food manufacturer needed a spray system to moisten breakfast cereal on a moving conveyor after leaving the oven. The company's previous process involved adding water using a rotary atomizer mounted above the conveyor, and resulted in uneven coverage.

Inadequate water distribution caused the flakes to absorb moisture from the fruit within the cereal recipe, resulting in very hard, distasteful cereal as well as significant product waste and dissatisfied customers.

AutoJet® Model 2250 PulsaJet® Panel

The AutoJet Model 2250 PulsaJet Panel is designed to control precision spray applications using PulsaJet® Automatic Spray Nozzles. The PulsaJet Panel can be used in a wide variety of applications but has been used most frequently in coating food products.
